Is there a way to keep your iTunes play count when replacing a HD?

This is stored in the iTunes Library file, so if you copy the entire ~/Music/iTunes/ folder to the new drive, you should be golden.
 
what about iPod?

Well, if you have an iPod, I think that the mac will take the play count from your iPod and update it that way as well...but I would still copy the actual folder as well, just in case 😀
