i just wanted to clear something up and be certain I understand correctly how iPhone photo syncing works. When I check "sync my photos using iphoto" in itunes, it is transferring lower quality versions of the photos to my iphone, and not damaging or deleting my originals, or altering the ones in my iphoto library, correct?
And, if I use iPhoto to sync my photos from my iPhone, it is copying the original photos and video from my iPhone to its library, making iPhoto optimized copies and maintaining the originals in the originals folder without altering or deleting them, correct?
