Hi All

Sorry if this is already posted but I thought that this was interesting.

Maple - IBM 970FX and CPC 925 Evaluation System

Its an ATX Mobo that uses dual 970FX CPU's (basically a G5) It runs linux as its OS.

It should therefore be able to run Darwin.

I wonder if this is how the G5 started its life.

Notice that board can address the full 8 ddr slots (8 gigs of ram)

Also take a look at the PCI Slots, its got the PCI-X slots

These are the people providing the cooling I think for the board.

Where's the AGP Slot ?

Though I don't think this is too much competition to the G5 powermac , I do think it might be sapping up some CPUs we need for our beloved powermac and imacs.
