I've tried some searches, and I've been fighting with this for a while this morning with no luck.
When I first got the version of iTunes that does epub books and added the overall "Books" section, I noticed that when I added an epub for a book I already had an *audiobook* version of, it merged these under one 'book'. I was fine with this, although it's a little weird.
The problem is, it's now stopped doing that for some of my books, including new additions. I cannot for the life of me figure out how to get iTunes to realize they're the same book. I can't figure out the difference between the 'merged' books and the ones that aren't. I've gone through every possible piece of ID3/etc info, made sure the files are named similarly, etc. Anyone have any advice? Trying to clean up my iTunes today.
I've also tried deleting the iTunes entries and re-adding the files from scratch.
