Hello, I was wondering how soon after activation could I make a claim to Apple Care? My iPod broke about a month ago, so I ordered the Apple Care and activated it today. Thanks.

If your iPod is less than a year old, which it must be if you just bought AppleCare, you don't have to wait. You can have it fixed right away. AppleCare only extends the regular warranty past it's year and gives you more time to call Apple if there is a problem past the 90 day support that you don't want to take to an Apple authorized resaler or worry about them charging you for the phone call. You still have a year hardware warranty without AppleCare.

Go ahead and call now, whether the AppleCare is active or not. But it should be because I'm pretty sure it's as soon as you register it.
