What do you use as a mouse on your MBP?

I voted best buy but I didn't actually buy mine from there and I use a Razer Death Adder although I find myself using the trackpad quite a lot as well because I've got Better Touch Tool configured for a lot of shortcuts and also the proximity to the keyboard... yea I'm just lazy.

Logitech Performance MX.

Other, the categories aren't: Touchpad/Apple gear/Any other **** mouse.

I've got a nice logitech I chose over apple's offerings.

Razer Orochi. It beats the Magic Mouse with a big hard stick into oblivion

And you should change the Vote to the make: Logitech, Apple, Razer, Microsoft, Other, as the current offerings are unbalanced and biased and you'll get inaccurate results. And I also use the trackpad for everything bar games.

I figure I will be gaming on my 15" core i7 2.66ghz 500gb 7200rpm hdd mbp. So I bought one of the best, if not the BEST gaming mouse on the market today (overall ratings were amazing for this mouse). Looks nice, feels nice, plus it has a blue LED glowing logo that pulses on the palm area as well as the scroll wheel. So in the dark it looks very flashy with my mbp backlit keyboard

Apple's mice are terrible in comparison to the competition

So I do not need a sale or bestbuy to find a mouse I want use to more than the magic or mighty mouse, but I like the trackpad.

I absolutely hate Apple mice. Ever since the puck-mouse even, their mice have been awful. Within seconds of using thr Magic Mouse, my hand was cramping up. I need a nice ergo mouse, hence the Logitech Performance MX Wireless Mouse.

If you don't play games or anything, the trackpad is awesome. I use that on my aluminum macbook and don't ever use a mouse. If you need a mouse, get the logitech performance mx. That's what I use with my mac pro, and i love it.

I really like the Razer Orochi, great having a bluetooth mouse with a back button, and being able to tether it to save battery life is nice too. It's a little on the small side, but I don't mind it.

I use the trackpad and magic mouse equally. Both are GREAT input devices.

They don't produce those anymore. The Permance MX is the replacement, and is better than its predecessor.

It still shows on their site in their mouse lineup. If it were discontinued, they wouldn't still show it there:

Its discontinued. Look at the prices on Amazon, and if you did not notice, Amazon.com is not the seller; its all third party sellers. And then its not on the US site.

and you had it linked to the logitech website for New Zealand. It isn't on the US site. And I suspect the only reason it's on the New Zealand website is that it's not up to date.

I bought the mouse back around 2007, cost me quite a bit but I could say it was worth it. I looked at the replacement model, but I prefer the 2nd scroll wheel on the Revolution. That being said though, the hyper scrolling feature has worn out over time and the thumb gripping has also worn out where my thumb rests. Still an incredible mouse though and I don't need a replacement yet.

Logitech MX518 ofc!

I travel a lot and I don't really want to spend a lot of time dealing with swapping out dead batteries. Any suggestions for a mouse that has these features???

1. bluetooth
2. runs on regular batteries, but doesn't burn through them?
3. or, one that is rechargeable that can be recharged by usb (instead of having one more thing like a mouse recharging dock to have to carry around)?
4. My logitech mouse that I use on my mac pro has an 'auto-off" feature that really helps between recharge times. Is this something they all have?

Suggestions?

the Logitech M705 is claims to last 3 years on one pair of AA batteries and uses a nano receiver for wireless (not bluetooth, but very small and can be left in the USB port without issue).
