Seems as if Vodafone is now selling 1 month data plans with a free micro sim.
I'm London bound for 11 days in June (I live in NYC) I am not keen on paying AT&Thief $200 for 200mb of international data. Vodafone's £15 3GB plan is a steal by comparison. Hell, caviar is a steal by comparison.
Can I just walk into a Vodafone shop in London, pay for a month of data, get the sim, stick it in the iPad and be on my merry way, even though the iPad was "activated" with a U.S. AT&T sim? If a Vodafone sim would work, would using it affect my AT&T service when I put the AT&T sim back in once I'm home?
Sorry, I did search. This stuff is new to me.
