Nermal Moderator Staff member Oct 8, 2004 #3 The LOTR DVDs are all in DTS. While on the topic, I haven't been able to play DTS with Apple's DVD player. I just get no sound. It works in VLC though.

I perfer DTS cause the seperation and overall sound quality sounds better. But it is also more expensive to use.
