NEW IPHONE IS BEING RELEASED JUNE 25th!!! with touch sensative back!!

Ok so whats up guys! im on here all the time reading all the awesome info of the new iphone and im big on the news now listen up.
the new iphone being announced at 1PM EST, 10AMPST on June 7th will be released on June 25th! i am 110% certain! a long time friend on mine who works at a major AT&T location here in New York just received an email this morning showing details about the next iphone! release date june 25th and they will be given training coming up very soon on all the new features but one specific new detail was giving about the next iphone that it will in fact include a touch screen back! the glass back on the next iphone will be touch sensitive with buttons and commands and i believe this was a rumor a long time ago and was never spoken of again but now its actully gonna happen! the video chat camera and the flash on the back are also confirmed but we knew about those already but guys i know your clearly not just gonna be like, oh hey lets trust this guy but hey we got another week or so until the 7th and its all uphill from there! will all find out together the truth but now you know a little hidden secret that apple was able to keep hidden up until now! June 25th most likely at 6PM like always =)

I'm sure no one will believe you, but that's interesting all in the same. One flaw I see in your story is that it will be released at 6pm like always. Only the first iPhone came out at 6. The rest went on sale at normal store hours.

Apple doesn't do it like that! info is always share with the local pizza place who then shares it with the AT&T manager! Really Apple does not share this info with AT&T stores. Maybe the top AT&T brass. June 25th is a fair enough guess though. pretty common date guessed buy several based on history.

i could have sworn that all fo the iphone were around 5 or 6pm? i mean maybe this one will be at normal times as well and not that i think about it i actually kinda remember last year being earlier so your right on that one but then again the iPad was later in the day as well and hey trust me i know how this stuff works im sure i wont get alot of people to believe me but that fine just because next monday on the 7th when it all becomes true, ill just feel better about myself for knowing a whole week earlier hahaha ya know? but im very confident that this is actually legit im so excited! wish it was earlier than the 25th but i guess since its not july, i shouldn't complain!

Nope. 3G was normal hours, 3G S was normal hours. Also, if you're confident that this is legit, please back this up with a source for your citation. Legitimacy can only be proven by verification.

The only thing I can see true about this is June 25th being a Friday. Pretty likely, hoping it will be June 18th instead.

well where did u hear that it was an early june release? i believe it was a early june announcement which is what we are getting and the email which was sent to ATT employees also stated no breaks through out june and that very shortly they will receive hands on training with the new phones and features including the touch sensitive back!

I don't know about early June, but multiple sources have cited it being mid-June. AT&T blocking the whole month of June for vacations wouldn't make sense if it was late in the month, such as the 25th. Rumors are the 18th, maybe even the 11th, but most likely the 18th.

i asked him if he could forward me the PDF file or email he received but he said no way and i wouldn't wanna get him fired just to prove myself on some forum, i mean guys will find out the truth in just a few days so its not worth it but hey at least its happening in june and not july! plus now that we know the touch sensitive back is just one feature gizmodo never found out about, steve did say we wont be disappointed and seeing how all of this just connects, there is sure to be some other features we all don't know about as well!

Tell him to get a screenshot of the info. He can easily block out any info identifying him or his store.
I call BS, there are a bunch of people on here that had a friend or relative that "works for AT&T" and has posted info that was wrong.

touch sensitive back sounds good though, and would tie in the fact that the back is flat exactly like the front.

I don't want to defend the OP, as this sounds like BS, but:
The phone they acquired was in a case to look like a 3GS, a touch sensitive case would have been useless. It's possible it wasn't connected or had a different back. That would explain the back cover saying XXGB on it instead of an actual size. I don't know what to make of the Vietnam one though. Unless the phones will all be 4th gen in 16/32/64GB, and the 16 will be crippled (no touch sensitive back, lower clock speed, etc).

The first rumors that came out said the entire casing would be touch sensitive who knows. I'm not waiting till late June though. Lol

i think its very possible, the back is made from a glass like material and therefore would work like the macbook trackpad.
