Is it harmful to let the power adapter plugged in to your MBP when its at 100% batter

Will any significant damage occur?

The battery won't get mess up because of overcharging right?

No. It will stop charging automatically.

If it were bad to do that, we all would be in trouble and a Mac repair store would have a lot on their hands. Besides, I usually have a full charge when I have to do system upgrades anyway, but everytime I upgrade/update something, it's advised to plug in the power supply/powercord. (Anyone know why that is?)
