Two positive comments within a couple of minutes, I didn't expect that! Thank you very much!

The fact that the cardboard rotates in-and-out is the detail that adds that extra degree of coolness.

Very nicely done.
Out of interest, how do you get the resulting gif to be so small a file size?
Any particular compression setting out of PhotoShop?

I made the gif sequence in a Photoshop document with a layer for each frame. The sequence was then put together with the "animation" feature – I think this exists since CS4, you can find it under "Window/Animation", it explains itself and is pretty easy to work with. Then I saved the gif via "Save for Web & Devices", you can set the maximum amount of colors etc there and it is really good at getting images as small as possible.

I've seen you using this one around the forums, it's eye-catching, clever, and very well done. I realize it's probably not possible due to size constraints, but my only suggestion for improvement would be to add another color of grey or black to the blob of black that appears on top of the stencil... anyway, great work on this, it's very impressive.

Very cool.

I like how you kept the filled in stencil area imperfect.
