iMac G4 - 17" 1.25 - Kernel panic & No USB

My iMac G4 has a few odd problems.

When booting to a 10.5 install disc, it has a kernel panic.
When booting to the question mark folder thing, leaving the computer on results in a white screen or a square in place of the folder.
Mac os X 10.3 boots fine - no mouse or keyboard.
Can't reset pram, boot into OF or use the keyboard or mouse after boot. The mouse gets power, but the keyboard doesn't light up.

*EDIT*
Fixed, just held all three mouse buttons at once, and the keyboard & other usb devices lit up.
