PowerMac MDD video card flashing
What is the best video card you can put in a PowerMac G4 MDD? Normal, flashed, or otherwise? I'd like to find out.

Don't quote me on this but I think it's a Geforce 7300 or something close to it in the 7xxx series.
I bought and flashed a geforce 6200 256mb for my sawtooth. Not a great gaming card but I only really play a couple older games like Oni, Quake 3 and CC Generals. Main thing for me is it fully supports quartz extreme, core image, core video and core animation in Leo. Leo loves the 256 vram also. Just 2D gui often uses 180MB+

best video card g4 mdd
There are two video cards that I would recommend. First of all the GForce Nvidia 7800 GS. Best card in town with lots of flash rom's available on the internet + Flash guide. Have the card myself, however I bought it already flashed since I didn't have the PC to flash it. Great Card!
My second choice would be the ATI Radeon 800XT or better the rare ATI 850XT. The 850XT model was only available for the G5, however they are sometimes available as flashed models for the G4 as well.
Good luck with your G4 project !!
