Steve jobs today in his keynote address stated that the price of the new iphone 4 would be $199-16gb and $299-32gb with a new 2 year contract,but said nothing about if you are not eligable for a upgrade or dont qualify for the extension that there offering.does anyone know the actual full price of iphone 4?

Appleinsider is showing that the no-commitment price for the iPhone 4 is $699.
I've bought each generation iPhone on launch day but my AT&T account page seems to indicate that I must pay the $699 no-commit price:

seems strange that I'm in the $699 camp
If the termination fee is $175 then wouldn't it be cheaper to terminate and then resign up? $175+$299 = $474

My point was you could terminate for $175 then start a new account and get the iPhone 4 for $299 instead of the no commitment price of $599.
And I think the upgrade price with a contract is $399.

It would still apply because there are those that want to cancel their old line, pay the ETF, and buy the new phone at a subsidized price of 199/299 by adding a new line
Anyone know if a deposit is required if you pay the no contract price? Last time I checked I had to pay a $250 deposit since I have no credit history, so I ended up not buyin' one. If a no contract price doesn't require any deposit, I'm game. Thanks in advance.
Steep stuff indeed.... I'll wait out my contract and buy the next or later incarnation. The video feature really is awesome, though.
