Ghosts in Exeter, England

Ooo, spooky!

Good stuff leading up to Halloween.

England has got to be one of the most ghost-liest places around...

Everywhere you go, there'll be a tale of some regular haunting.

If Exeter considers itself the ghost-capital of England, then you'd be practically tripping over them...
 
There is nothing quite like some ghost stories to boost tourism. I'm sure that all the fog tends to boots the tales. They sound friendly. Especially like the one that rearranges the flowers into a cross at the beside of a dying person.
 
Sounds like someone went on holiday to exeter and went on one too many ghost tours....

This just goes to show you that Netscape will go to any lengths to get traffic onto their site. I saw that about half an hour ago, and discounted it, but after going on a Sydney Ghost Tour last year, and having trouble sleeping for a week, this seems real. Anyone from over that area that can agree disagree with the web page?
 
Then why did you discount it half an hour ago?

Anyway, ghost tours are never freaky, although the reason why these ghosts exist are usually quite interesting. Some people are hung, others were pushed out the 2nd story window by their father. The stories are cool.

My grandfather, 2 uncles, and grandfather's maid have all seen ghosts in my his apartment in Hong Kong. All on separate incidences, but one time I think my uncle and the maid saw them together. Not sure of the exact details, but freaky indeed.

But, what if you are Jewish? 😕 Does the goes make a Star of David out of the flowers?

What if you are a neo-Nazi? Or perhaps a Hindu? What symbols are made then?
 
I love ghost stories, especially ones that deal with tourism. I remember a thread awhile ago on another forum dealing with ghosts at Disney World.

I think the ghost would do things depending on whether the funeral was held in a church or synagogue or something. Or maybe it depends on the religion of the ghost who's doing it. So if the ghost was originally a member of Scientology or something, you'd probably be electrocuted or something, then sent a huge bill for the cleansing. 😉

Or a Zen Buddhist?
Would the ghost ask "what is the scent made by imaginary flowers?"
 
Agh, ghosts freak me out, it is the only thing that actually scares me... but I always find myself watching docu's on ghosts wanting to stop watching but cant 🙁, I'm just so interested in it...
