I guess this is also one of those 'missing features' because I don't see any slider or anything on my phone -.-"
 
you have to tap the screen and then the slider shows up. it works perfectly fine on my 3G with iOS4
 
Ah I see. Weird it isn't there all the time, because you can't even tap it to make it disappear o0"

actually it does go away after a few secs.
