When ever i use my powerbook for sometime, the screen makes a loud snap like its going to break off. I have to pu a lot of pressure to close it also. It only does this when i try yo close it, not when i open it. I bought it about 5 months ago and started about a month ago. Also the powerbook always wobbled while typing. The batt door is not flush with the bottom. Could this be the problem? Or do you think the case twisted in transit???
Please HELP!!!

Thanks!!

is it the hinges that are making the noise??

if so then this is normal, happens on my book still, its just because they are tight really

No, it's actually NOT normal. My hinge(s) used to be tight, but when I got my PB back from Apple (logic board and screen (white spot) replacement), it was smooth and silent. The AlGlide kit from RadTech should help if you don't want to send it in.

Also, the battery, for whatever reason, isn't supposed to fit flush. Probably because of manufacturing limits.
