iPod touch I'm confused <3

Hi...I recently acquired a new 3rd gen ipod touch...I though they were supposed to have mics on them..? maybe I'm completely wrong. I don't know :/

Also, whenever I plug it in to a different computer it starts deleteing all of my apps, how do I fix that?

1) The mic is built into the earphones, not the iPod itself.

2) iPods can only be synced to one computer (unless you use manual sync, but I don't have any additional information about that, sorry).

You can't manually manage apps, you can only do so with music and videos.

iPod touch

If the iPod touch is an 8gb it will NOT support mics.
It its 32gb or 64gb then yes it will.

They support "Voice Memos". However, the mics are sold separately.

I was under the impression that the iOs 3.0 update enabled microphone use on the 2G iPod Touch, which is what the 8Gb versions are. Is this wrong?

And when I say microphone use, I mean like using Skype, not Voice Memos, those are only one the 3G iPod Touches as far as I know.

no mic built in, need headphones, OGDaniel did you really just post a hyperlink to google? 😀
you probably need to have a more descriptive title, the editors wont like that much.
