Does restoring to an earlier firmware also restore the older baseband?

Basically, can you downgrade your baseband by downgrading to an earlier firmware?

Just wondering.

Only way to lower baseband is if you have original issue 3G with bootloader 5.08 (jailbreak, then try Fuzzyband)

This exploit was fixed by Apple in all the new bootloaders (5.09 and up)

Note: Forcast will tell you your bootloader

No, and that's not really a need for it seeing as how all current basebands are unlockable.
