iPhone 4 Screen Flickering

I just got my iPhone 4 however I noticed that my screen is flickering a lot. Anyone else have this problem?
 
quick update:

there were scan lines too.
i called apple they told me to call back tomorrow and they will arrange for a replacement phone to be sent to me.
Not very happy that my brand new phone isn't working right out of the box
 
Screen flickering/flashing, only when in a phone call?

My new 32GB iPhone 4 seems to have an issue where the screen flickers/flashes (looks like the brightness is going up and down), but only when I am in a phone call, (holding the phone away from my face so the screen is on), and only when it is also transmitting data (I can see the spinner rotating). Anyone else run into this? OP, is this what you were experiencing, or something different?

Mine looks like it us more wide spread then your's. I see the flickering everywhere. Especially the home screen
 
Same here

I have the same thing as well. It is a very persistent flicker with flashing horizontal lines on the whole display.

Yeah that's exactly it. Not happy with apple right now. I had problems with my 3GS too
 
Actually.. I don't think mine is a hardware issue anymore. The screen before the first screen is spotlight search and the screen fades when you go to it. My screen is flickering because I slide slightly past the first screen from the second.
 
Iphone 4 screen flickering

I am having the same issue.my iphone 4 screen flicker when i swype it from the third screen to the second screen.I did apply a bodyguardz and i am thinking some of the water might slipped inside through the sides.
 
I have the same flicker problem on my brand new iPhone 4. Are there any solutions yet? I am curious to know if it is a hardware or software problem.
 
Only recently having a flicker when I swipe from the second page of apps to the first.

Seems to have started since the jailbreak.
 
My screen flickers when I swipe from the second screen back to the first. It was actually one of the first things I noticed. So I tend to use wallpapers that makes it less noticeable for now.

Hopefully its an issue that can be fixed in an update.
 
Two phones in four days...and counting...

Received iphone via FedEx Tuesday. Screen flickered and went black Friday morning. Did a full restore. Friday morning the problem was back - sam flickering screen that then went black. Returned the phone today, wasn't give a new phone, but a second hand one. That sucked for starters. Phone worked for six hours and now the problem has returned. The phone still receives calls, emails etc - but the screen is black. I'm wondering whether there's a bug that I'm downloading onto the phone when I do the restore. Any ideas?
 
I have this screen flicker problem too, but is from 2nd page to home screen. Its around 1/10th of a second or 1 ms. Its so fast to a point that I can't even see it sometimes, not unless I really push the display in my face. I hope they will provide a fix soon even though it doesn't bother me at all...
 
iPhone 4s Flickers

I had this issue and reboots didn't worked. I turned down my brightness from full to just below. No more flickering. :)
