ipod screen flashing?

ok so this has never happened, and I've never had a problem with my ipod before, but I put it in it's cradle today, and when it powered up, the screen, for whatever reason, was "flashing" the Ipod functions correctly, and there would be no problem in using it, but this is sort of freaking me out. has anyone had similair problems and did you fix it? (I'm aware that my grammar is terrible.)

k never mind it had something to do with being extremely low on batteries. sorry!
