Will this Blu-ray drive rip on a Mac???

Thanks in advance, here's the Blu-ray (ROM) drive I plan on buying:

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16827249040

I want to use this with MakeMKV, and then Handbrake, as long as OS X (snow leopard) recognizes it.

Can someone tell me if this drive will work with my Mac? Thanks much...

Hi

It might be worth posting this on Plextor's own forum,

http://www.plextoramericas.com/index.php/forum

get a viewpoint from their customers. The specs don't mention any Mac OSX support at all, but that doesn't mean it won't work. Though there may be problems with any firmware updates.

it will work perfectly fine

just remember that MakeMKV wont be free forever, so be prepared to pay for it if you want to keep using this process
