Can I use an OEM version of Windows to install on a Mac?

I'm considering installing Windows on a Mac. I'm wondering if I can use an OEM version, or if I have to buy a standard full version of Windows?

It violates Microsoft's licensing terms.

Could be within the terms if the OP was planning on reselling the Mac and supporting the Windows install to the unrelated third party, no?
