okay, dumb question. why do my pictures that I send via email arrive in sideways mode?

what am I doing wrong? or is there some kind of setting that I missed with my new IP4 along the way?

my previous 3GS didn't do this.

Sideways?
You mean landscape/horizontal?
Or portrait/vertical?
Is that the way you took the picture?
Did you do any resizing when sending the email?

Give us more info. 🙂

You won’t be getting an answer any time soon. It’s a known bug. Maybe it’ll be fixed with 4.0.1.

I take the picture in portrait mode but when I email it, the picture is turned sideways.
