iphone 3GS white screen help

Hello.
Running unlocked 3GS with tmobile for a week. All of sudden the screen turned all white! I turn the phone off for 10 mins and turn it back on, now I can see the screen but lots of white line still on the screen and too bright. I tried the home button and power button trick but still the same. Does anyone know how to fix this? Thanks for any help.
 
Had a similar issue with my 3G, but someone had run into me hitting the phone in my pocket with a laptop bag. The screen was white but everything worked. Took it to an apple store, explained what happened and they gave me a new one.
 
Thanks. I might havo to do that. This thing happened after I talk to my friend, nothing hit it. wish there is anything I can do. Thinking about restore to 4.0(now running 3.1.3 unlock) and see if it help but don't know if I can unlock again.
 
You can unlock iOS 4 on the 3G; I had mine unlocked. I'm not sure if there is an unlock available for 3Gs though
