What format for iMovie?
I have two VCDs that I want to rip and create a DVD from. I managed to get the video in .mpg and convert with Quicktime Pro to a .mov file using h.264 compression. However iMovie 09 (8.0.6) won't let me import either the .mov or the .mpg. What can I do to these movie clips to make them importable into iMovie?
Thanks Cams |

QuickTime container (.mov) either using the DV or Apple Intermediate Codec (AIC), as H264 is not meant for editing.
MPEG Streamclip might be able to help you too, it can do batch transcoding. |
