I think my Speakers on my iPhone 4 aren't working?

I think my Speakers on my iPhone 4 aren't working?
When playing games or songs, my right speaker is "significantly" louder than my left speaker. If I cover my right speaker with my finger mostly all the sound goes away. You can barely hear the left speaker. Wait, I'm not sure if I hear anything on the left, but yeah... the right speaker is really loud! I'm just a little worried.
Is this normal or should I reserve an appointment at the Genius Bar?

There's a problem with your mic if you're hearing sound coming out of it .

This question never gets old.

They are not both speakers. The one on the left is a mic.

Still applies to iPhone 4.

There is only one speaker on the iPhone. The other thing that you see if a mic.

Anyways, you're just holding it wrong.

Gotta love it when someone's thread title is almost exactly the same as a sticky.

-aggie- would suggest you look at this

I had a 3G and a 3GS. I didn't look at the stickied threads.... Since I was worried I rushed typing this on my iPhone 4 without acknowledging any threads on here including the stickied ones. Sorry! I never knew the left one was a mic. I never realized my iPhone 3G and my iPhone 3GS had only speaker. That's good to know. Hey, we all have our "noob moments...!" hahaha...

You owned the 3G and 3GS yet you never realized that there was only one speaker? Really? 2+ years with iPhone and you had no clue? There is a word for that and "noob moment" isn't it.

Guys, my third speaker at the top of the phone isn't working either.. it's the one next to the front facing camera. It works when I make a phone call but I don't hear anything when I'm playing music..

I wonder if the OP (with no disrespect intended) was actively looking harder/more concerned with the details given the posts about issues with the iPhone and noticed it because of that vs his other phones.

Sometimes - when you're looking for issues - they magically appear
