App to replace frequent shopper tags

Talking with a buddy yesterday and he said a friend of his had an app that was used in place of all his frequent shopper key fobs from places like CVS, Stop and Shop etc. Have tried a number of searches in the App store but cannot find the app. Anyone know about this app?

I also found another called Key Ring Reward Cards, but that one requires some kind of registration.

I downloaded key ring rewards.. Seems like it's more updated than cardstar. Thanks for this post or I would of never known about these apps!
