how did iPod 3.0.1 work out?

hi all,

i still haven't updated my 4G iPod to 3.0.1. i've curious to find out if it nuked anyone's iPod or if it's been a smooth update. the original news thread didn't really have any comments of people's experience with the update, so i'm asking here. thanks.

Mine worked out perfectly fine. Haven't noticed anything different or better so I guess thats in someway a good thing. I do a restore everytime however just because I don't want to take the chance of being somewhere without my computer and the upgrade mess up my software. U should be fine either way, I believe what I do is just over kill anyways.
