Does AdBlock extension slow Safari down?

Is it just me or does anyone else feel that AdBlock does affect the loading (opening) speed of a website slightly?

Have they updated it to fix the crashing issue? I stopped using it because it would crash ALL THE TIME. So I guess you could say it loaded slower...since it never loaded.

Just remember, windows users aren't really people, so don't listen to them. -racer1441

It never crashed for me in the first place... but I guess they've updated it by now? It's at v2.0.9 now.

Ideally it should make load times faster since the browser has to load less content.

Btw, one quick question: if AdBlock prevents certain vid (or whatever thing you'd actually like to see) from loading, how can you actually whitelist that item so that it will display it?

Google SunSpider, go to their website and run the test.

Short answer: HELL YEAH.

With Adblock not only does it make is WORLDS slower, but it also drains your RAM to heck.

...and I ordered 16GB of RAM because of this...
