Legal Down loads from iTMS sit at about 7 DL per second which going on the growing number of iPods in the US is actually fairly static. If you think about it for the number of iPods being sold each month the number or downloads per second should be steadliy climbing....

Bootlegs from bands that allow (or actually encourage), sample pieces bands offer on their websites and complete albums that are released under e.g. creative commons license.

The sound section on archive.org alone has available 17,866 concerts.

A 35% increase is still pretty significant. Apple has done very well with its iTMS.
