[help]Apache server cant be accessed LAN

hey guys, im trying to my apache/php server working outside my LAN but everybody I have asked is says the same thing, "server not found". I have tried a few things like opening port 80(tcp/ip) and placing the computer in the DMZ, neither seemed to make any difference.

computer1\____
computer2\____ |router|______modem_____internet~~

bah, i just figured it out, i was linking to my routers ip and not my real ip..
