iChat not sending images

For some reason, everytime I send an image, iChat says

Direct Instant Message session started
You left the chat.
Reconnecting with Name <screenname>...

And then the person receiving using iChat gets an "Error"

Has anyone else had this problem? If so, is there a solution?
