Hi. I'm running Mail as my email application on my new iBook. Panther/1.2GHz, 1.2GB RAM, Bluetooth mouse, in a household with only one wireless router and one other visible wireless network (a neighbor's Linksys).

It seems that I have no trouble GETTING my mail from my POP server, but when I try to send (using port 110 - don't know if this is right), it drops the wireless signal completely and then gives me an error that it couldn't connect to the server (Verizon).

I only recently have been able to fix this by watching the radar icon up top and quick as a bunny clicking on it when it goes gray to reconnect to my network.

Then the mail sends fine.

Is this a Mail issue?
Is this an airport issue (should I connect via a different port)?
Is this an interference issue (bluetooth)?
OR other?

Thanks,

Jeff
