Hi, I've never posted here before, so hello all, first.
Alright, I'm trying to build a Mac from scratch, and I have all the necessary components except for the motherboard.
I have:
1.25 Ghz G4 Processor (Mirror Drive Door pull)
512 MB PC2700 RAM
hard drive, vid card, etc
I'm wondering if this processor will fit on any other G4 motherboard other than the Mirror Drive one? I think those are the only ones that have the 167 Mhz bus, but I'm not sure if I could get away with maybe running it on a slower board? I'm asking because it's hard to find the right boards, and they're pretty pricey when they do pop up. Any suggestions or ideas?
