how to turn off camera flash

how do you default the camera flash to OFF instead of being auto everytime?

Tap the auto button and you'll see an option to turn off.

It doesn't stay on off when u exit camera

Mine stays off as well, even when I clear the camera from the quick switcher.

Mine does not stay on "off", If I remove it from the quick launch, background list it sets back to "auto"
