I'm looking into upgrading my MacBook (Late 2008 Aluminum) to 4GB's of RAM soon.

I looked into RAM and I think Crucial has a pretty good price. Does anyone have any experience with them? Quality? Issues?

Thanks.

There is nothing wrong with the quality and they can be very competitive on price. Used 4 256MB sticks on my old G4, never a problem.

Next day delivery on most items from them even when not requested.

Just make sure you order exactly what you need, obviously.

All crucial RAM comes with a lifetime warranty, so no need to worry. I've got all my RAM from there, mainly because I cant use OWC RAM due to high import costs.

I'll chime in too. I've bought my RAM solely from Crucial for years now. Never a problem with them.

Good to know that these guys have good stuff cause I bought some RAM of theirs on Friday. I do believe it shipped today so hopefully it gets here soon 😀

...I just RMA'd a stick of RAM after ~6 years with no questions asked, I use crucial or kingston in all my (and friends) machines...

Nothing but Crucial, which is really Micron, the manufacturer, for over 8 years. Never a problem.

Increased the ram in my 2009 MacBook Pro to 4 gb several months ago. Purchased mine from Crucial and have had no problems so far. Would not hesitate to order more should I have the need.
