Loading CD-ROMs onto Hardrive for Kids Games

My son has an iMac running OS9. He's gotten games for his birthday and I'm sure he'll get some for Christmas and what I'd like to know is if there is a way to load the games on his harddrive so he doesn't have to mess with putting the CD-ROM into the drive.

Any help or ideas would be great.
