This is great news.
Apple needs to step up making sure there's momentum for software companies to plug the remaining big compatibility holes. One peripheral like this may be easily enough to prevent people from becoming Switchers... and now one less peripheral to worry about.

I remember reading that Apple has some kind of effort targetting business users, in which they find out what apps a business would demand in order to consider Macs, and then they go to the developers of the commonly-requested apps to try to get it done.
