argh Im using my macbook it gets hot pretty fast and shuts down. Then when i start it up it shutsdown right away. If i leave it for a while it will work for 5-10 mins then shutdown... What to do?

Specs:
OSX 10.5.8
2gb ram
nvidia 9400m

Is it under warranty? Do the fans work? I would let Apple take a look at it, sounds like something serious

Does it boot all the way into the OS and then shut down or while there's still a gray screen on the display? Have you tried booting to the install DVD to run either a hardware test or a scan of the hard drive?
