I'm trying to share a large file with a friend. We connected directly to a linksys router via ethernet. I could see his network, and he could see mine. But when he would try and access my drop box it would say he didn't have sufficent privilages. Can anyone PLEASE tell me how to accomplish this. I have such a headache when it comes to file sharing with mac os 10.3

Thanks

He doesn't have the access right to see what is in your drop box, but he can drop files there all the same. Just drag the file to it and it should be OK.

if its just one file that you need, you can do it three ways since ther router thing isnt working
1. Use AIM/ichat and send him the file (depending on how big the file is)
2. Use idisk
3. Burn it to a CD/use a USB drive
