Exclamation iPhone 4 Bluetooth problems!!

So I have had an original iPhone and an iPhone 3gs. Now I have an iPhone 4. I drive a Corolla with bluetooth in the steering wheel. When I am listening to music with the phone plugged in via the AUX jack, it used to automatically switch to the car speaker and the car mic. Now with the new phone, whenever I listen to music and answer the phone, the car speaker picks it up, but the phone mic remains. On top of that, the people I talk to say there is an echo, so I'm thinking its maybe the noise canceling mic on the phone?

I took the phone to the Apple store and the guy pretty much blew me off and made a minimal effort to help me. Is there anyone experiencing these problems? Anyone with a solution?

I hate being the only one

Your not the only one.

Check out this thread and the article listed there: http://forums.macrumors.com/showthread.php?t=974318

Specifically this one: http://www.slashgear.com/ios4-blueto...audio-2395177/

I realize what your talking about is not exactly the same thing, but it seems the BT stack and iOS4 have issues with which mic the sound should be coming from.

I would possibly post to that thread, your issues here, and at least get them into the thread. Maybe someone has a work around. Though its doubtful. The fix is going to need to be an iOS update.

Right now, I can't use my BT Jawbone Icon at all. No one can hear me. If I try to use it like a regular phone, I suffer from the proximity sensor bug, and I hangup on the person, compose an email with my cheek, or more regularly I end up attempting to facetime them.

Kudos to you operator207!!! Everybody take note. This is the appropriate way to tell someone that another similar post exists. With manners, maturity and even with some help to the original poster. Thank you operator207.
