Macspotting: PowerBook, iSight, iChat AV on Survivor

So they were having a chat-from-home challenge on Survivor last night -- they went in for their 1-minute appetizers (over a 15" PowerBook G4 purportedly linked to a satellite dish) and it turned out Twila couldn't type -- but hey, Jeff Probst had a camera on hand. iSight, of course.

So they blow their iChat up to the full screen, and that's what they put on TV. No lag or anything.

So of course, after the challenge the people who were purportedly thousands of miles away turned out to be just yards away -- I knew the image was too good for satellite. Not too good for a GigE, though.
