Can I replace my broken IPHONE 3GS screen with one from a IPHONE 3G ?
My wife dropped her IPHONE 3GS and it shattered into a million pieces. She got the new IPHONE 4. I have an IPHONE 3G. I was wondering if I can take the screen of my IPHONE 3G and put it into the IPHONE 3GS ? Please PM me and e-mail me at rrichar@uvi.edu if this is possible.

I was reading some where that the glass could be switched but not the digitizer. I just needed a second opinion.

No, I have taken many 3G and 3GS' apart, and the LCD connectors are different altogether. You would need to separate the digitizer/touch assembly from the LCD. It would be very time consuming, and risky if you don't have the proper tools and know-how.
