Each thread like this could be updated as time passes. New apps are released and ones that at first seemed good, are surpassed by newer apps.

For now, I like:

Logmein - remote screen access to a desktop mac/pc
IM+ - instant messenger all in one client (text only as of posting)
Pandora - streaming music
GoodReader - document viewer/management
Sketchbook - drawing
Dropbox - automatic cloud/synchronized documents with desktops
Flipboard - news/twitter/facebook/rss
NPR - news/audio
WSJ - printed news (cost for all articles, very nearly getting me to subscribe)
Times (an RSS/news reader, better than Early Edition in its loading of articles in the background and navigation in my opinion)

AngryBirds (still enjoy it, almost finished all levels on three stars)
Asphalt 5 (lots of arcade fun, tried many of them and most are good)
Scrabble (classic gameplay and always fun/available)

The last thread like this only had its last post yesterday. Are you saying there should be another one of these threads tomorrow or 3 days later. Mods should close and merge all these Best/Favorite iPad Apps threads.

No. I didn't intend to say keep making these threads, just they become outdated quickly. It would be a good idea to have reviews/ratings based on the version of an app and ranking in a site like http://www.appshopper.com/

If anyone knows a site that does this and can compare/group similar apps that would be really cool. Please post if you know of a site like this, or if you are up for it create one!

My favorite and most-used apps are:

1) Atomic web browser

2) Kindle

3) Goodreader

4) mSecure (password utility)

I also find the dropbox service to be immensely useful. I have not included it above because I do not use the dropbox app.
