Just got the Apple BT keyboard. Love the form factor. Auto correct does not work. Do I need to enable it in settings? Couldn't find any settings. Searched thru the forum but found no relevant info.

Can auto correct be enabled with the blue tooth keyboard?

Thanks,

Did you disable auto-correct on the iPad?

Nope. Auto correct still works on the iPad keyboard. Not on the blue tooth keyboard.

It works for some words, but not all of them. "iPhone" doesn't correctly capitalize, but other misspellings seem to fix themselves.

It may also depend on the app you're using. Some apps have very limited support for external keyboards--DocsToGo doesn't even support the arrow keys for movement within a document.

It doesn't bother me, the point of auto correction on the virtual keyboards is that they're harder to type on accurately. I don't need auto correct as much on a physical keyboard.

Yea, it works on some words.
I hope with 4.0 they add some features to the BT Keyboard so it works better with iPad.
Like keys that work as a home button, more command stuff...

Totally agree. Thanks for the info everybody.
