Why are Mac G4's expensive(for it's specs)?

They go for around $250+ used/refurbished. I mean, their specs are ****** compared to desktop specs with the same price.

I see high end G5's in the 250+ range, and G4's in the $50 range.

Bids on ebay for the g4's always reach up to 120+.
