imac 27" (2010) lags with 12gb RAM installed

Hi guys, i've got weird feeling that my iMac startet to lag when I added more ram. Mybe its just me but I've started to notice that safari sometimes does not respond to my clicks and Mouse sometime is laggy. I thout it was the mouse but problem still existed when using USB, any thoughts? I don't think its because I added SSD to the system? It's more like a RAM issue...

Anyone having the same problem?

perhaps you didn't get the right type of ram and it's screwing things up? I'll give you benefit of the doubt and assume you did get the right type though..in that case I have no idea. perhaps the channel pairing issue?

I'm waiting on my imac to be delivered and I also went the 12gb route, I'm not sure what the proper way to install the 2 4gb sticks alongside the 2 2gb sticks...or even if there is a 'proper way'.

I've change mine to go 2gb and 4gb vertically not horizontally as it comes originally and it improved a little bit... will do more testing tonight...
