Is it possible to change settings in an app?

Hi,

I want to make an iPhone App that changes some settings in the iPhone.
Is that possible or have Apple made it impossible to change the settings of the iPhone through the use of an app?

You cannot change the users settings for the phone as a whole. You can change your own applications preferences only.
