10.2.8 to 10.3 upgrade questions

i own an iBook 700 Mhz 256 mb 20 gig combo with OS 10.2.8 that i bought refurbished. i realized that i cant to a lot so i spent 30$ on ebay to buy 10.3 and i want to know a few things.

is it worth upgrading? should i just resell the disk?

can i still boot up OS 9 original?

i really have nothing on here right now and if you know any good downloads or any suffestions let me know thanks.
